Description
What are girls so stressed about? Everything! They are stressed (and stretched) when it come to figuring out who they are, finding friends and fitting in, keeping up on social media, not missing out on anything, school, activities, and life. They know they are stressed or “off” but they don’t always know that first, stress is normal (a lot is overwhelming but a little is even helpful) and second, they can learn how to manage their own stress and feel equipped with coping tools!
This course has been designed to guide girls to understand and navigate stressors and stress.
In the Stressed Out and Stretched Course, she will learn:
- The 5 stages of the stress cycle
- The Difference between stress and stressors
- How her brain and her body responds to stress
- The Fight, Flight, Freeze response that protects her
- Her go-to coping tools
- Healthier coping tools to help her process her stress
- How her stress may be getting in the way of her happiness
Course includes:
- 1:1 lesson (75 minutes) with Power Point
- Colourful handout(s) of key points and tools to try
- Follow up video with additional ideas and inspiration

- Courses are delivered via Zoom video conferencing (recorded) or in person
